Beth Goodwin is a food writer and director of special projects for a New York-based restaurant group. She is the co-authoring her first cookbook to be published in Fall 2016. Beth has been obsessed with food since the age of seven when she began recreating episodes dish-for-dish of Julia & Jacques in the kitchen with her older brother. Since then, Beth has cooked in some of the country’s most celebrated and influential kitchens including Chez Panisse and The Spotted Pig, and has worked on the development and opening of over 16 restaurants since the age of 20. Beth is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a recipient of the prestigious R.C. Kopf Prize, an award presented to the top six students in the United States who have demonstrated exceptional passion, intellect and scholarship in wine and restaurants. Beth is 25 and currently resides in New York City.
